If you're dropping a car off before a flight or picking one up after, we're a short drive from the terminal.

About Harewood

Harewood is home to Christchurch International Airport. The Council bought the land in 1935, it opened as a municipal airport in 1940, and served as an air force base for most of WWII. International flights began in 1950, and in 1965 it became New Zealand's first airport served by international jets.
